RANCHO SANTA FE — The streets of Rancho Santa Fe will be a bargain-hunter’s paradise between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Feb. 27, as the merchants throughout the Village host a special sidewalk sale offering 10 percent to 70 percent discounts.
The one-of-a-kind event was launched by Courtney MacDonald, owner of Plume Stationary and Gifts, and Marilyn Mulloy Estate & Fine Jewelry, as both prepare to relocate and expand. After being in her current location for two years, MacDonald is moving just two doors down on Paseo Delicias, to a larger space, and Mulloy is moving into MacDonald’s old space.
“We talked about having a clearance sale before we move and decided it would be fun to include the entire Village retail area of Paseo Delicias and La Granada,” MacDonald said. “You’ll find sales at Country Squire Gifts and Linens, Daniela Boutique, Jakki’s Closet and Browtique, as well as Plume Fine Stationary and Gifts and Marilyn Mulloy Estate and Jewelry.”
As part of its expansion, Plume Fine Stationary and Gifts will be carrying women’s and children’s apparel, with top brands including Vince, Millie and Hudson. In addition, MacDonald will open a new section specifically for monogramming.
“It will be a fun day,” MacDonald said. “We will be serving cookies, cupcakes and lemonade, and shoppers will have a chance to discover lots of new retailers up here, as well.”
