SOLANA BEACH — The Burn Institute has recently become aware of unauthorized phone solicitors attempting to raise money for burn-injured children.
These calls are not valid. These telemarketers are not affiliated with the Burn Institute or any locally authorized burn support organization. Reputable organizations, including the Burn Institute, do not raise funds through telemarketing.
If you receive such a call, hang up and report the incident to the Burn Institute at (858) 541-2277.
