SAN MARCOS — San Marcos Community Services will present “Just Us Girlz!” from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 24 at the San Marcos Community Center, 3 Civic Center Drive. The registration deadline is Jan. 16.
“Just Us Girlz” is a personal enrichment event is for girls ages 11 to 16 years. Girls will receive hair and age-appropriate make-up tips from professionals, learn how to be a better communicator, do a photo shoot, have lunch and model in a mini-fashion show.
The cost is $25 per girl for residents and $30 for nonresidents and includes a goodie bag for each participant. Those signing up with a friend will save $5. Family and friends are invited to view the mini-fashion show at 2 p.m.
