County seeks input from elderly

SAN MARCOS — The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency’s Aging & Independence Services, or AIS, wants to hear from seniors and others in the community about programs to serve older adults throughout the county. As required by the Older Americans Act, AIS establishes goals every four years and develops an area plan. Six public hearings are scheduled in different regions of the county. The San Marcos Senior Center at 111 Richmar Ave. will host the next public hearing from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Feb. 10.
