VISTA — Carriage Hill neighborhood residents are reportedly looking forward to changing the name of Escondido Avenue to Branding Iron Circle. City Council approved the new name when Escondido Avenue north of Highway 78 was renamed Civic Center Drive in honor of the new civic center now under construction. The name change will become official after formal approval by the Planning Commission and City Council.
