College to present dramatic comedy

SAN MARCOS – The Cougar Arts Theater will present “Imagining Brad,” a dramatic comedy, at 8 p.m. Nov. 21 and Nov. 22, and at 2 p.m. Nov. 23 in Room 111 of the arts building on the Cal State San Marcos campus.
Written by Peter Hedges, author of “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape,” “About a Boy” and “Dan in Real Life,” the story explores the personal trauma of domestic abuse through the encounters and conversations of two women. Arielle Rosenbaum directs.
Each performance will conclude with a guest speaker and Q&A session. Tickets are available at the door and a $5 donation is suggested, with all proceeds covering production costs and a donation to the San Diego YWCA.
