The city of Carlsbad sponsored a football competition Sept. 18 that was open to children of all ages.
Called the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick program, the event was held after school at the Pine Avenue Park on Harding Street.
Members of the Boys & Girls Club on Roosevelt Street along with members of local Pop Warner football teams took part.
The winners will move on to compete at Qualcomm Stadium during a break at a future Chargers Game, organizers said.
